Maria D. Brown, Ph.D. leads the research and education functions at Management Research Group (MRG). She is passionate about understanding human behavior and helping people reach their potential. Maria’s research explores contemporary themes in leadership, motivation and professional development, including self-confidence, diversity and inclusion, and gender and generational dynamics. She regularly presents empirically-based insights on key topics in leadership to a variety of audiences around the world. Her research has been published in Coaching Perspectives Magazine, the Association for Talent Development Magazine and several scientific journals. Maria holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. Upon completing her doctoral degree, Maria joined the Department of Psychology at Murray State University as an Assistant Professor.
